Estación Material vo. 3
@ Plataforma
Guadalajara, México
Planta Libre presented the work of artists Alejandro Zacarías (Guadalajara, 1960), Guadalupe Alonso Vidal (Ensenada, 1995), Roxana Alvarado (Ensenada, 1995), and Pablo Castañeda (Mexicali, 1973).
In Estación Material Vol. 3, these artists delved into the complex relationships between the city, its landscapes, and the images that define it. Through their works, they portray the realities and contradictions of the territories where they live and work, addressing themes such as architecture, materials, and waste to question the concept of progress. This exhibition reflects the tensions and changes that characterize border cities, inviting viewers to consider the multiple layers that constitute the region.
